Recently I decided to start watching more old movies in an effort to learn more about the fashion of past decades, which led me to the movie "Charade" starring Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant. I tend to like every movie that Audrey Hepburn is in because yes, I am a typical white girl and I am obsessed with her. No judging please. Although the clothing in all of her films is on point, her wardrobe in "Charade" is particularly wonderful. From the second I started watching, I was mesmerized by her beautifully tailored sheath dresses and mod 60s coats - so mesmerized, in fact, I probably could tell you very little about any details of the movie itself. Of course, everything looks perfect on Audrey so the fact that I loved all her outfits is no surprise, but there was truly something special about her chic, demure wardrobe in "Charade" (especially because she managed to fit it all in one suitcase). Givenchy really outdid himself for this film, and I am so thankful for it.
